Non from Shadowhuntaz contributed, to the 3 man group as first beat maker, then
turned lyricist, and in between group albums he releases a uncountable about of solo
projects on various labels worldwide. With a lyric heavy mix of old and new school
hip hop traditions, employing experimental beat makers globally that were contacted
and connected then collaborated and conveyed using the internet.

As which was the case with producers herrmutt lobby that display a flipped out,
robust hip hop grind with hovering basslines and quickfire edits, that only leave
you wanting more.

The album “Hunter” is a meeting on a mind-scape, hearing lyrics that match wits with
the beats in a intellectual intercourse resulting with a electro birth of sound that
can only be describe as hip-hop riding a waveform of bass over a torrent of drums
and arriving at the shore of uncharted music, in a newly discovered world of sound,

Last time Mad EP was here (Show Number 34), he was promoting his “Bass.hed” album on Ad
Noiseam and getting ready to play the festival circuit… 6 months later, Mad EP
returns as a victorious gladiator: the original phalanxter aka the bass.hed
buccaneer, and is now ready to unleash the next chapter on us all.

He has several releases in the pipeline: an album called “Twenty-four Breakbeats” on
Acroplane in May, a 12″ called “Antagony” on Noizetek for Spring/Summer… plus has
signed to Dealmaker Records to release a full length album with the Shadow Huntaz.
If that weren’t enough, he has just joined the ranks as a DJ on Sub.FM, in the
highly-coveted Monday midnight-2am slot, rotating with Starkey, Secret Agent Gel &
Sines.

In his true grandiose fashion.. not only did Mad EP do a complete “take over” show
(an Electronic Explorations first), but he did TWO, full 2-hour shows.. The first
following the normal Electronic Explorations format of selecta style hosting,
complete with lots of first-plays and dubplates. The second is a “rewind”,
showcasing several of his DJ mixes you may not have heard before.
